I hope you were in Manila or at home on Saturday to watch ONE Championship’s 50th Event: Age of Domination. It was an awesome evening with two title matches that ended ONE’s 2016 events with a BIG bang!
What is most interesting and wasn’t spoken out during the event is the milestone that ONE has come to. Looking at the history of ONE’s humble beginnings and how they got to where they are in 5 and a half years, is nothing short of hard work and determination to help cultivate the culture and professionalism of Asian MMA fighters. Which brings me to believe that there was a reason why they picked “Age Of Domination” for the title of the event.
One Championship started on the 14th July 2011, by Chatri Sityodtong, Matt Humes and Victor Cui (CEO), with their first event starting within than 2 months after (03rd September 2011) in Singapore, Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Now ONE Championship is the largest sports media property in Asian history. With big goals and plans for the future to help Asian MMA grow in popularity and help more local fighters step up to take centre stage.
Looking forward to follow ONE Championship’s into the new year of 2017. We at FightGeek are supporting you all the way!
